Long-distance jobs are priced by the weight of the load and the distance traveled. We walk the home first, give a written estimate, and weigh the loaded truck on a certified scale so the final figure is tied to something real rather than a guess.
Packing, if you want it added, is quoted as its own line so you can see exactly what it costs to have the kitchen boxed for you.
One crew, start to finish
The people who load your home are the same people who unload it at the other end. Nothing gets handed to a different driver or transferred through a warehouse along the way.
That matters more on a long haul than a short one, because a piece that gets damaged in a hand-off is harder to trace than one that never left the sight of the crew that wrapped it.
We plan fuel stops, driver rest, and an overnight stay where the distance calls for one, all before the truck leaves your driveway.
Timing a move across state lines
Georgia summers get hot enough that a closed trailer sitting on the interstate climbs well past the outside temperature. We load heat-sensitive boxes, electronics, and anything with a battery last so they come off first at the new address.
If your closing date on the new home is not firm yet, tell us as soon as it changes. A short delay is easier to absorb early than the week of the move.
What you get in writing
Every long-distance job comes with a written estimate, an inventory taken at loading, and a copy of the scale ticket. If the scope changes on the day because an extra room of boxes turns up, we tell you the new figure before anything is loaded.
